Wrong again.... Today I felt a miracle... I was inside him... However, better in order.
I am an artist. Visual in the way I perceive reality and talk to the world. I have long had a desire to touch the world of blind people, precisely because they are special. They are able to color the darkness, to see with their heart and those senses to which we, seeing people, attach very secondary importance.
How to construct an experience that you consider important and want to have, when you realize that if you create it artificially, it will remain artificial - one-sided, incomplete and sterile. The dream of this unique experience has accompanied me for a long time, and suddenly.....
The musicians from "KUSH Orchestra." - The band, which plays new Russian music and tells musical stories (or, as the musicians themselves call them, plays) with the voices of balalaika, guitar, bass guitar and drums, invited us to the GMCC "Integration" to take part in a musical "journey" through cities and countries.
Each of our songs, each melody and each sound contains a lot of images, experiences and emotions," the musicians say. - The audience will "see", hear and feel the moods of a quiet Russian village, Spanish evenings, passionate oriental rhythms and fabulous lights of Baku..."
That's how I got to Concert in the Dark.
The first thing that, pardon the pun, caught my eye was the depth of penetration of the authors of the action into the meaning of what is happening for us. They provided everything so that we could plunge into the reality of their daily existence. Yes, dear organizers, you are absolutely right - after the Concert in the Dark, the life of everyone who attended it will never be the same again.
And what happened was this. From the very entrance we moved in semi-darkness, gradually immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of mystery, and found ourselves inside the amazing world presented to us by the authors and organizers of the project. This is a very special experience. We had guides in the Darkness, guides for whom it is familiar and friendly. We trusted them when they met us at the entrance to the Darkness, although a guide is only a voice, a name and a warm shoulder on which we put our left hand.
When the announcer's voice appeared in the Darkness, I wanted to burst into tears. Then the music came...
At first, no visual images appeared in front of my eyes, or rather, in my imagination. It must be that the brain had overloaded the RAM with never-before-experienced impressions and the resource was simply not enough...
As the musical events unfolded, a blurred string of marvelous images ran in front of my inner gaze, definitely not from real reality. Suddenly, an internal argument began on the declared themes of the musical fragments, and it quickly died down. I began to dance, for we are in the Dark. I felt as if I had joined the jumble of flickering images not only physically, but also with my subtle body....
Scraps of thoughts flashed from time to time: "I wonder if the musicians are sighted?"... "Are we listening to live music?"... "If they're playing behind a curtain, how can it be so dark in here?"
I don't know how much time had passed, but the concert was over, and it was time for us to leave the Darkness. We walked again in the same chain, but in reverse order: voice, name and warm shoulder still in front, us behind him. On our way out of the Darkness, we were greeted by the concert organizers. They said, "Welcome back to the light!"
If only we could say the same to them in gratitude.....
